Etosha can be a harsh place to photograph. I chose to go in April at the end of the rainy season. The benefit was lots of photogenic green vegetation.
The downside was that very little wildlife came to the waterholes. Most of my images were taken from the car as I drove around. The other benefit was that there were virtually no other wildlife photographers there.
