I travelled to South Africa during Easter 2004. I particularly wanted to visit some of the smaller parks alongside the   of Table Mountain and the of Boulders Beach. Renting a car is very easy and S Africa is a delight to drive around. The smaller parks at Easter were virtually empty of tourists and whilst I did not see a lot of bigger game  it did allow me to concentrate on less well photographed species. Some of these are still very rare and the conservation efforts are really starting to reap their rewards, of special note are the Cape Mountain Zebra and Bontebok.
