Welcome to my web  site.

When you look at the natural world you will see great beauty. Fleeting moments can take on great significance and brief encounters can leave the watcher breathless. It is the attempt to capture those moments and to try to produce evocative images that drives me on. The majority of my work is carried out in the Peak District and though I travel extensively throughout the planet I find I am continually drawn to northern environments and their wildlife.

I write every month for Derbyshire Life and  have articles and images regularly published  in Outdoor Photography, Bird Watching, Natural World and BBC Wildlife. I am represented by a number of agencies. I am available for commissioned work and have produced images for Sheffield City Council, Western Park Museum, many Wildlife Trusts and a large number of businesses.
