| Bull seal at Sunrise, I had wanted to create an image like this for sometime so I arrived well before sunrise. The shot was taken with a 100-400 canon is lens on a beanbag. I underexposed to add more colour to the sky. |

This bull seal had been sleeping as the incoming tide approached. By patiently waiting I was able to get a good number of shots as he scratched his nose and eventually waved goodbye. It was a nice shot to get at the end of the day. EOS 3, 5OO 4.5, Sensia 100. |
| Grey seal pup suckling. The Gitzo carbon fibre tripod without the centre column allows you to have the camera at a very low position, this brings a sense of intimacy into the image. Unfortunately if you don't cover the legs with taped plastic bags you end up with sand in all the screw joints!!! 500 4.5 Canon and Sensia 100. |

I
particularly like reflections, though I find them difficult to find in the
UK. When I came across this Grey Seal cow on the edge of a large wet area
I immediately saw its potential. I found that by altering the height of
the camera made a big difference to the sharpness of the refection, the
lower the angle the more blurred it became. I like both, the mirror like
refection and as here the more blurred reflection. Canon EOS 3 500 on
Sensia 100.
