Over the last few months I have been working on my biography of Henry Seebohm who was a Victorian Sheffield Steel Master, traveller and ornithologist. I had hoped to have completed this by now, I started it 30 years ago! However, as with all things the best plans!!

So the following images are from this May when I worked every morning visiting a few delightful places around Sheffield looking for singing birds. Since then I had planned to spend June working with butterflies but the weather has been shocking, at least it has given me more time on the biography.
